Today I met Wend in Oldham. We had the best time. Coffee in Gallery Oldham. A mooch round The Spindles. The lunch with Jon in Parliament Square which was absolutely smashing. This town is so underrated. We are meeting back up again there in November. After this convivial morning I got the tram to Rochdale train station and then a train back to Todmorden. The whole journey cost 6.80 and took an hour door to door including travelling, walking and waiting time. Pretty damn spectacular for a lady who hasn't been on public transport on her own for more than 15 years.
