The weather on Monday morning was incredible. It had been a cold night and there was frost on the fields as I got the bus to Hebden Bridge. The fields we passed were coated in white and as the sun hit them vapour was rising into the air. The trees are changing colour at an alarming rate and the sky was so blue it looked like a postcard. These things always make being out early feel like a treat and i always remember the secret trips to Carlisle with Mum on the train which we would do a couple of times a year. Crisp weather and strong coffee in Watts after a look round the shops together. Special memories. Today is the first of October and i really hope we get more weather like this. It really is the best of autumn.
