Boyd Walk and Boxer

 I am trying to get to know the village and surrounding countryside. The core of this is getting out for walks with Jon and Bella. Obviously J has a good knowledge of the lanes and bridleways from daily dog walks so he is passing this on. Today we visited the horse who made me think of Boxer from Animal Farm. He seemed like a gentle giant and when he came towards me moved his head down low for a stroke and stayed steady as a rock while we had a chat. Jon walked well clear with Bell so as not to invade his space or spook the situation. There is something unbelievably graceful about equines...he made my day.
