Beautiful Home

My best friend Shaz returned from several years of globetrotting last autumn and moved into this beautiful Edwardian gem in Stockton Heath. While her husband is working hard doing very important things in China, she has been transforming this place with Farrow and Ball paint, restored furniture, charity shop bargains and a lot of elbow grease. Among the treasures uncovered have been the the beautiful tiled hallway with it's azure blue pattern that reminds me of Morocco; and the rearranged and redesigned bathroom with it's newly painted Ball and Claw roll-top bath. The dining room with reclaimed oak refectory table is my favourite room in the house, there's such peace to the place and I love it's open aspect to the lovely enclosed garden, but then every room is glorious, the kitchen with it's quarry tiled floor and range cooker; the bay windowed living room with log burner and glorious picture rails and the lovely little study.
