The no good very bad day

....After a morning in salubrious Northwich in and out of the opticians with Jon we got a later bus than intended and ricocheted our way out of town, through the estates of Lostock Gralam and on to Wincham. A few missed stops, wrong turns and screeching bumping and bouncing later we decided it would be safer all round to get off at The Cock o Budworth. The driver let us out in a hawthorn bush and we clambered along the verge. Two miles and two rain showers later we arrived home.
