Wednesday

I feel better. I even ate a fish for lunch, and came downstairs for a cup of tea. Jon took George out for grocery but the stall wasn't there so he got broccoli from the one stop instead.

Troublesome Tuesday

Ellie and now Brian have the gastroentiritis.
The car got fixed but then the battery died in Burnley and Graham and RAC had to rescue Jon and George.
I've eaten dry crackers and baked potato.
The headache is a bit more bearable.

Dead

I have the gastroenteritis.
Am dead.
My respect for Jon for even getting out of bed on Saturday is bordering on awe.
The headache makes me want to die.
No food.

Slightly better Sunday

Photos taken by the utterly wonderful Dot and Brian - our bezzie Shaz's Mum+Dad who took George out for the day and gave Jon some time to sleep and recuperate. He is feeling much better thank god.
The aching is everpresent but I feel slightly less breathless - just dealing with the tonsils with the penicillin.

Hospital

Life experiences 101
#34 - ride in ambulance
Awful day. Spent the night with chest pain and by morning I was struggling to breathe, cue paramedics and ECGs and then hospital and a nasty canula, chest x ray and more tests...
After 6 hours I was allowed to go, not my heart thank god but my muscle over my heart, across my chest. I must have torn or pulled it lifting George. 4-6 weeks of no lifting and taking it very very easy. I'm in bed as I write using my phone. Hence the poor quality photo. I feel like I have a boulder on my chest and breathing is sore and shallow, but it will get better in time, so for now it's sleep and codeine.

Walk the line

Shhhhh....George took his first two steps today. Twelfth September.
I didn't catch it on camera, but I wanted to make a note of the day. He is nine months, three weeks old.

Meh

I'm in the attic, full of cold.
I have fairy lights

And Radio 4.
What is going on with Adam and Pavel??!
Graham visited and took George out.

Jon is doing everything.
Huge guilt and feelings of burden
I feel some tiny gratification that I froze some nice meals I cooked last week which we have eaten today for lunch and tea.
Night all.
