I'm not a royalist, there I've said it, but what a fabulous wedding and what a beautiful bride. I know this will probably make me wildly unpopular amongst certain echelons of my friends but I don't care. I adored the pomp and circumstance, and I adored her dress, Grace Kelly anyone?

Old friends

Lovely visit from Claire, Wendy and Dylan. We went to the Ram and sat outside in the sunshine, then went in for coffee. Jon met us after his junket in Preston and we all went on our merry way around 5. The next time we see Claire she will be walking down the aisle.
