Baby clinic and Springtime

George had his baby clinic check up today with the Health Visitor (Squid) and she was overjoyed with him and his progress, commenting especially on his great motor skills. Brum Brum :) - She also weighed him and he is now a lovely 13lbs 10oz - around the 25th percentile. Height somewhere around the 75th. My long tall George.

It was also a brilliantly beautiful spring day with lots of sunshine and blue sky and warmth in the air which spoke of those lovely summer days ahead.

Today I will mostly be squealing like a pterodactyl...

Travels with my pram - part five

Just a little jaunt round the block today, calling into the peace garden to marvel at the crocuses and the abundance of Hellebores.

We also noticed coming home that a new place called "Crafty Cows" is opening next to the almost new "Junk and Disorderly" - the former is due to be a 'children's cafe and craft centre' ....exciting times :)

Chewy chewy

Not sure if it's another herald of teething or just more mouth discovery - but George is certainly into chewing everything right now...

and on a bit of a grouchy day there's a smile too...

Up the 'Pool!

Liverpool win The Carling cup on penalties against Cardiff City after drawing 2-2 in extra time...

George HATES the loud whoooop-ing Mummy and Daddy make when we win....

But then thankfully comes round again....

Bramsche for tea...

Jon had a Croque-Monsieur and I had a Todtine and we sprawled on the Chesterfields in the Basement...

....and George fell asleep in his car seat under the table

Untypical Friday

Today wasn't a typical Friday...Uncle G had to work :( and Jon who was due home early got waylaid until 4. The day was quite eventful in an expulsive way...George managed to poop, pee and puke on me and we went through three clothes changes before Daddy got home!

When he did get back we went out with the pram to get some shopping - cheese, meat, fruit and flowers, some books from the charity shop and then we came home...

Jon fed George and we had some cheese....

I arranged my lovely flowers and then made steak pie for my boys :)

THE FLU....

....Has had me low for almost a week - along with the typically *me* addition of tonsillitis - I can never do things 'normally'....

Thirteen weeks....

....and exactly 3 months to the day since he was born...my beautiful baby boy :)
