Misty Morning

The snow might be all but melted but wow the mist....

It was even worse at the Health Centre...

You wouldn't believe it's now bright and clear seeing this.

Dear old Whirlaw.

Sherlock

We watched the final episode of Sherlock tonight - The Reichenbach Fall.....whew....Brilliant as ever, but twisted and heart-wrenching and sad, just very very sad; and on top of my weird fragile mood I sat and wept like a baby.

I love the relationship between Sherlock and John, and It broke my heart to see the pain he was in having lost his best friend. I can't believe it will be another year until we see resolution in series 3.

In happier news, Jon showed George baby shapes and fractals on the laptop...I think he was mainly confused...George, not Jon. Jon is always confused.

Friday

Friday was a good day but a decidedly cold day, so I put George in his very groovy hand knitted hooded cardigan. The hood looks like a rasta hat in this picture, and ting.

*Oi Oi...you Lacky poiiiple..* (spaced reference there for you)

Uncle G came over just after lunch...

Graham is what you might call a hands on Godfather/Uncle, which is fantastic for me as I get a break from the constant cycle of changing nappies and clothes, feeding and burping. Instead I get to make a coffee and actually drink it while it's still warm(!)

I also got to go for a nice walk out with my son and my best friend - with the added bonus of buying some blacksticks blue cheese and a nice crusty loaf from the market.

Here is George doing his now typical Zombie-child pose with arms aloft (in Aberdeen) - look it up, it's a Joe Strummer song.

I love this picture even though you're looking slightly sheepish in it Graham (yep, my bad, sorry for taking snaps whilst gangs of marauding schoolchildren sweep past likes wolves on the fold).

We had Christmas curry for tea, which was a roaring success (how big was that chicken again Jon???) apart from giving the menfolk heartburn - then I skipped off to bed and left the boys to talk about cars and football or whatever boys talk about....

Love my boys. Love Fridays.

Travels with my pram - part three

Today we went to buy stamps and post a cheque for Uncle John.

It was extremely cold and the newsagent on Patmos is NOT what you might call child friendly - from the large step to the surly youths - but we managed.

We also got to roadtest the new starry snugglesuit from Jon's workmates

I think the above picture should be accompanied by the caption yoyoyo...or something

And the below...maybe just awwwww...
