Frankie the Bunny

Uncle Sean and Auntie Amy Joy sent George a gorgeous bunny toy and he absolutely loved it immediately...I think it might be the stripes!!!

Take your baby to work day...

On Friday Jon came home for lunch and then we all went back to Oldham in the afternoon...

We took George into the office to introduce him to Jon's work colleagues and were SWARMED by female employees.... J then had to go to a meeting and left me at the mercy of a horde of broody women(!) Well, he was - as you can see, looking rather dashing...

Special mention must go to his stripey jumper knitted for him by Auntie Rachael and that fabulous furry hat...

After the office melee, me and George went looking round the shops (why are childrenswear sections ALWAYS on the first floor????!) and what was his reaction to Oldham????.....

We needed a big coffee and cake after that....!

The sun sets on a lovely day, time to go home...

We called into the peace garden...

Travels with my pram - part one

Today I took George for a spin around the town and bought a potato peeler...

He looks like a little chad...do you remember them or am I just old?

Thank goodness for plastic covers...

Though I can't help but wonder....will it ever stop raining....?

Jab Jab

George had his first immunisations today - the brave little soldier coped admirably with a jab to each thigh. He also had a full medical with the Doctor and is now 11lbs 12oz and has settled around the 75th percentile. We then had another full check over at the Children's Centre with the Health Visitor who run a clinic there alongside stay and play from 1.30-2.30. They were very happy with his growth and progress and don't need to see him again for another 2-3 weeks.

Ces't tres difficile!

Well, after more than three weeks of being ill, feeling rotten and having some of the nastiest tummy ache i've ever experienced, I found out today that I have almost certainly got Clostridium Difficile. The rather natty hospital bug which seems to attack when you have had antibiotics - which I did shortly after having George.

I'm now taking a course of rather hefty antibiotics which I hope will sort things out, though it might be a few days before I actually feel better. ANYTHING for a tummy that doesn't feel like it has knives in it.

Anyway, here's a picture of George....

Gorgeous smile.

New Years Day

Dakar time again!

Sadly, super Simon Pavey isn't taking part this year, but I am still illogically captivated and deeply dippy about the daring Dakar...
All eyes are on last years winner Marc Coma to see if he can repeat his performance....

And thinking of outrageously sexy men....

Sherlock came back to our screens tonight with the best television I've seen...well, since the last series ended....'A Scandal in Belgravia' was a lustful joy.
